Description We are looking for a dedicated Attorney with at least five years of experience to join a respected law firm in Detroit, Michigan. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic litigation practice, specializing in municipal law and employment litigation while delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities:

• Represent municipalities and governmental entities in complex litigation cases, including employment disputes and municipal law matters.

• Provide expert legal counsel to municipalities, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.

• Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation, with a strategic focus on achieving client goals.

• Draft persuasive legal documents, motions, and briefs to support case strategies.

• Advocate for clients in court by presenting compelling arguments and leveraging strong trial skills.

• Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to deliver comprehensive solutions and foster team cohesion.

• Develop innovative legal strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs and objectives.

• Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, building trust and strong working relationships. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, with a focus on municipal law and employment litigation.

• Active attorney license in good standing.

• Proven ability to draft high-quality legal motions, briefs, and other documents.

• Strong knowledge of municipal laws, employment law, and employment litigation processes.

• Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and courtroom advocacy.

• Confidence in handling all stages of litigation, including depositions and trials.

• Commitment to providing outstanding client service and achieving favorable outcomes.
