Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team in Uniontown, Ohio. This Contract-to-permanent role is essential for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance and supporting related administrative functions. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to the Human Resources department and handle payroll for a large-scale workforce.

Responsibilities:

• Process weekly and biweekly payroll with precision and timeliness.

• Maintain and update employee records within the payroll database.

• Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions.

• Manage garnishments, contributions, 401(k), and other payroll-related payables.

• Prepare certified payroll reports and ensure compliance with prevailing wage rates.

• Reconcile payroll data against project requirements and system records.

• Support the development and maintenance of payroll systems and modules.

• Handle administrative tasks such as filing and clerical duties.

• Assist with Human Resources projects and initiatives as needed.

• Adapt to high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism. Requirements • Associate’s degree or post-secondary education preferred.

• Minimum of 2-4 years of payroll experience, including knowledge of prevailing wage processes.

• Familiarity with large-scale payroll operations, preferably for 1,000+ employees.

• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now, including Time and Attendance modules.

• Strong understanding of multi-state payroll and full-cycle payroll processing.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Previous experience in Human Resources is a plus.
