    Description

    We have a brand new opening for an Azure/Windows Systems Architect/Lead for a top client of ours in Cape Coral, FL.

     

    Preferably kicking off on-site then becoming Hybrid, but they ARE flexible for this person to start Hybrid from day 1 as well.

     

    $130-160K+ depending on experience (can go higher if structured as a long-term 1099 instead).

     

    Job Overview

     

    We are seeking a highly skilled Windows/Azure Systems Architect with Team Lead experience to design, implement, and manage enterprise-level IT infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Windows server engineering, virtualization, cloud platforms, and endpoint management, with a proven track record of leading technical teams to deliver robust, scalable systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Architecture Design: Develop and maintain secure, high-performance Windows and Azure-based infrastructure solutions tailored to business needs

    + Server Management: Oversee Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability through expertise in Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory

    + Cloud Integration: Architect and manage Azure-based solutions, including IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid cloud deployments, ensuring seamless integration with on-premises systems

    + Virtualization: Design and implement virtualization solutions using VMware and manage backup/recovery processes with Veeam

    + Endpoint Management: Administer Microsoft 365 (O365) and Intune for device management, security, and compliance across the organization

    + Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of systems engineers, fostering collaboration, driving project delivery, and ensuring adherence to best practices

    + Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational requirements

    + Troubleshooting & Optimization: Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex infrastructure issues and optimize systems for performance and cost efficiency

    + Documentation & Training: Create detailed technical documentation and provide training to team members and stakeholders
