Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will handle key accounting processes, including accounts receivable, cash applications, and bank reconciliations, while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This position is ideal for someone with strong technical skills and experience in Netsuite.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable processes, including tracking payments and resolving discrepancies.

• Perform cash application tasks, ensuring that unapplied cash is accurately allocated.

• Conduct thorough bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger, adhering to accounting standards.

• Handle intercompany accounting processes, including reconciliation and research to resolve variances.

• Utilize NetSuite software to streamline accounting operations and maintain data integrity.

• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies through detailed research and analysis.

• Collaborate with team members on cross-training initiatives to enhance overall operational efficiency.

Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable and cash application processes.

• Proficiency in NetSuite and familiarity with general ledger operations.

• Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation procedures and techniques.

• Ability to research and resolve unapplied cash and accounting discrepancies.

• Experience with intercompany accounting and reconciliation.

• Skilled in preparing and posting journal entries with attention to detail.

• Excellent organizational and analytical skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
