Description

We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Manager to join our team in Lynnwood, Washington. This role involves managing a wide range of financial operations while also supporting human resources functions. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy of financial processes and foster a positive work environment for a passionate and dynamic team. This role is 3 days per week (24 hours per week).

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management.

• Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including monthly and year-end summaries, to company leadership.

• Develop and monitor cash flow forecasts and the annual budget to ensure financial stability and profitability.

• Establish, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.

• Supervise the accounting team, providing guidance, encouraging attention to detail, and ensuring adherence to company policies.

• Collaborate with department leaders to align financial strategies with organizational goals.

• Manage onboarding processes, including background checks, employment agreements, and new employee setup, ensuring all required documentation and training are completed.

• Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, and retirement plans, while supporting enrollment and communication efforts.

• Maintain and update HR policies and employee handbooks to comply with state and federal regulations.

• Coordinate performance reviews and provide guidance to managers on employee development and training initiatives.

The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $57,000.

Requirements • Proven experience in accounting operations, including month-end close, general ledger management, and account reconciliations.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.

• Demonstrated ability to implement and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance and protect assets.

• Experience in human resources functions, including onboarding, benefits administration, and policy development.

• Proficiency with accounting software and payroll systems, such as Paychex.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills with a focus on fostering growth and attention to detail.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial and HR documentation.

• Ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve business objectives.
