As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for all visitors, employees, and guests. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry out your responsibilities with professionalism and a strong sense of integrity. Your primary duties will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service while remaining alert to any security-related concerns. You will be the first point of contact, helping to deter potential incidents through your presence and communication skills. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.

+ Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors as required.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor logs as required by site procedures.

+ Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with building management and/or emergency services.

+ Support a professional and welcoming environment at the front desk, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.

+ Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
