As a **Security Professional - Armed Government Site - Full Time** in **Bushnell, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Screener with Allied Universal at a government location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. In this armed position, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities will include screening individuals as they enter the premises, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service through clear communication and professionalism. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related screening procedures and following site-specific policies.

+ Monitor entry points and screen individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, staff, and law enforcement personnel as needed.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities and any incidents that occur during the shift.

+ Remain alert to potential security-related concerns and report observations to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site leadership and Allied Universal management.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.

+ Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
