    Position Description:

    CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Lead within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. You must have a passion for keeping pace with rapidly evolving technology advancements and leveraging your knowledge on a highly collaborative team to deliver state-of-the-art capabilities.

     

    You will be responsible for guiding technical teams and ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects. In essence, your responsibilities will include providing technical guidance, mentoring team members, and fostering a collaborative environment. You are also responsible for defining technical strategies, ensuring code quality, and driving innovation within the team.

    This position is located in our USA DC Washington however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

    Your future duties and responsibilities:

    • Technical Leadership: Providing technical guidance and direction to development teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and organizational objectives.

    • Team Mentorship: Guiding and mentoring team members, fostering their technical skills and professional development.

    • Code Quality and Best Practices: Establishing and overseeing quality assurance processes, conducting code reviews, and implementing best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.

    • Solution Design: Participating in solution design, identifying technical solutions, and translating requirements into technical specifications.

    • Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including other engineers, designers, and stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery.

    • Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices to optimize workflows.

    • Innovation: Driving innovation by introducing new technologies and approaches to improve team performance and project outcomes.

    • Project Management: Participating in project planning, tracking progress, and managing technical aspects of projects.

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

    • Experience: Shall possess a minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

    • Education: In addition, shall possess a Master’s degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or have Bachelor’s degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 2 years of related senior experience, for a total of 14 years, as a substitute to the Master’s degree.

    o Alternatively, if the labor category performs tasks in an emerging field of practice, the Government may waive the education and experience requirements if the Contractor is able to demonstrate industry-leading skills and accomplishments.

    • Security Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Poly

    • Required: Expert-level education and experience leading teams of application developers.

    o Shall develop and maintain technical strategies to ensure effective application development and integration between applications, including AI capabilities.

    o Shall maintain daily communication with Government leads on requirements, mission priorities, performance measures, program goals and milestones, and support needs.

    o Shall oversee all contract application development work and present overview briefings and updates to Government leads, partners, and customers; report on business area progress at performance improvement meetings; and help identify opportunities for increase effectiveness, efficiency, scale, and impact.

    o Shall notify Government and Contract CPM/CDPM of any issues or trends that pose a risk to mission priorities.

    o Shall assist the Contract CPM/CDPM in distilling requirements, communicating them to contract staff, and tracking progress against them.

    o Shall provide a technical need summary to the government program manager and government technical need, giving the client a consolidated roundup across all development efforts, with a special focus on areas that need client intervention.

    • Project Management Expertise: Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.

    • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.

    • Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and guide project teams.

    • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.

    • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

    • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant software and tools for project management.

     

    CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $96,500.00 - $235,200.00.
