    The Permit Coordinator will coordinate the submission of various permitting and third-party crossing applications, track permit statues, prepares reports and schedules, prepares packages required for construction, liaises with infrastructure companies, municipalities, and other government entities to ensure that the projects are completed on time and within scope.

     

    This position is a 1-year contract. The position is remote with occasional travel.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Manage effective administration and maintenance of all third-party/crossing documentation.

    + Obtain and manage receipt of consents as part of third-party program, including renewals and expiries.

    + Research and identify requirements, submit applications for third-party crossings, agency approvals and consents to support infrastructure development and construction.

    + Project Support for Land and Permitting

    + Update and prepare Third-Party Line Lists for various infrastructure developments, renewable energy, telecommunications, and other rights-of-way projects.

    + Prepare and manage construction line list and construction binders in conjunction with other Land Analysts and Planners.

    + Prepare and audit all documentation required for third party crossings, road use and ROW construction packages.

    + Track permit statuses, key milestone dates and related metadata.

    + Maintain project line lists and databases.

    + Form and maintain strong, professional relationships with permitting authorities, infrastructure companies, municipalities and other government entities.

    + Occasional travel to offices of Authorities Having Jurisdiction to complete permit submissions.

     

    Perform other duties as required.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Post-secondary education in real estate, planning technician, land, land administration or a related field of study or relevant experience.

    + Minimum 1-2 years in regulatory permits in an administrative capacity, with project related experience.

    + Experience with infrastructure (petroleum pipeline and transmission), renewable, and/or other right-of-way projects.

    + Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team of project professionals.

    + Experience with regulatory agencies, including Federal, State and local permitting requirements.

    + Working knowledge of land titles.

    + Proficiency in identifying third-party requirements.

    + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an extremely keen attention to detail.

    + Exceptional organizational skills and work ethic, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines and timelines.

    + Proficient using software to track and organize several hundred third party crossings and permits on a single project.

    + Ability to interpret survey/construction plans, maps and legal descriptions would be considered an asset. Work accurately and efficiently to ensure high quality work within a fast-paced work environment.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

    + A valid drivers license is required.
