The Manufacturing Engineer
will be responsible for creating, evaluating, and reviewing Manufacturing
Documentation to support the manufacturing process. This role involves
analyzing shop floor inputs, design requirements, and manufacturing
capabilities to formulate quality engineering recommendations for design
engineering. The engineer will provide support in preparing detailed
manufacturing information, including routing, special tooling costs, and risk
assessments for new products, processes, and technologies. Additionally, the
position requires designing and manufacturing tooling and fixtures for product
manufacturing, as well as supporting product quality improvements to minimize
non-conformances.
How You’ll Make an Impact
+ Creates,evaluates, and reviews MF Documentation in support of the manufacturingprocess.
+ Analyzesshop floor inputs (data & findings), design requirements, andmanufacturing capability to formulate quality manufacturing engineeringrecommendations to design engineering.
+ ManufacturingEngineering support in the preparation of detailed manufacturinginformation (Routing, Special Tooling Costs, Risks, etc.) for new product,processes, and technology into manufacturing
+ Designand manufacture tooling and fixtures to be used in product manufacturing
+ Supportproduct quality and improvements to minimize non-conformances (bothproactive and reactive)
What You Bring
+ Aminimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a Manufacturing or Engineering relatedconcentration with 1 year of manufacturing experience while possessingintimate working knowledge of assembly procedures.
+ Theideal applicant will have 1-2 years’ experience with assembly, mechanics,or related hands-on experience troubleshooting mechanical assemblies.
+ Providetechnical leadership and execution of Manufacturing Safety, Quality,Processes, Technology, and Execution of Product Work scope.
+ Strongcommunications and communication skills are extremely important as well asflexibility to work nights and weekends as needed to support urgentcustomer projects in the factory.
