    Job Summary

    HRI, Inc., a leader in heavy civil construction since 1947, has an opening for an experienced and energetic Lowboy Driver. Applicant must be able to work varying shifts and long hours dependent on market demands.

    Main Responsibilities

    + Applies the safety guidelines linked to their activities including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment.

    + Takes care of the proper adjustment of their equipment and vehicles before operating them.

    + Conduct proper pre and post trip inspections to ensure equipment is in working order

    + Pickup and deliver materials/equipment to jobsites in a safe and efficient manner

    + Operates vehicles according to the DOT and the companysafety standards

    + Maintains vehicles:

    + clearing and verification of vehicles after use

    + carries out standard upkeep (minor repairs) in observance of the company's environmental guidelines and regulations

    + Notifies their manager in the event of anomalies.

    Education

    + High school diploma or equivalent preferred

    + Valid Class A commercial drivers license with the ability to maintain a clean driving history

     

    Skills

     

    + Must comply will all DOT regulations

    + Applicants must be able to work varying shifts and long hours dependent on market demands

    + Must comply with the company drug and alcohol testing requirements

    + Proven track record working safely

    + Good work ethic, professional, and positive attitude

    + Travel as required

    Physical Requirements

    + Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by Company safety guidelines

    + Regularly required to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance

    + Regularly required to use hands to move and manipulate objects

    + Regularly required to communicate (talk and hear)

    + Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

    + Standing/working on feet for long periods, and walking across uneven terrain

    + Frequent exposure to loud noise

    + Regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles
