Roles and Responsibilities

+ Define supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels. Lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers.

+ Negotiate terms and conditions and transmit information to Procurement.

+ Manage claims.

+ Includes commercial sourcing management such as data analysis, negotiations support, etc. This may also include purchasing activities.

+ Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.

+ Resolves issues using established procedures.

+ Consults People Leader or more senior team members for issues outside of defined parameters.

+ Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE.

+ Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.

+ Handles simple data entry work requiring face value check and correction.

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience with Sourcing/Procurement

Desired Characteristics

+ Good knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Package

+ Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

+ Availability to travel within the US to visit suppliers.

+ Notions of how to read technical drawings and manufacturing process.

+ Experience with energy business and negotiation with international suppliers

The salary range for this position is 63,800.00 - 85,000.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus. 63,800.00 - 85,000.00 - 106,200.00 USD Annual
