    Join Our Team as a Program Aide for our Opioid Overdose Prevention Program.

EAC Network, a leading not-for-profit social service agency dedicated to helping over 79,000 people through 120 impactful programs across Long Island and NYC, is looking for a dedicated part time Program Aide to join our Opioid Overdose Prevention program.

     

    + Wage:$20 per hour

    + Schedule:21 Hours Per Week - Days TBD

    + Location:175 Remsen Street in Brooklyn NY

    What drives the core purpose of this job:

    The Program Aide will assist the Supervisor and Program Director in a wide range of administrative and support related tasks to ensure program priorities are maintained.

    Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

    + Handle a wide range of administrative and support related tasks for the Supervisor and Program Director.

    + Order naloxone supplies, maintain inventory, distribute kits to offices across NYC.

    + Track staff training and the number of kits distributed in each office.

    + Maintain documentation and prepare monthly reports on training and kits distributed.

    + Conduct naloxone training with staff and clients. Help staff identifies barriers in conducting training.

    + Interact with clients in a professional manner.

    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required:

    + High School diploma or equivalent required.

    + Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.

    + Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

    + Naloxone training certification required within one month of hire.

    + Must be proficient in computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications, calendar, and email and/or database software necessary to perform work assignments
