Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Type: Contract

Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 hourly

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

System One is in search of an Accounting Clerk for a top-notch company in the Tulsa area. Qualified candidates will join an established team of professionals who excel in their areas of expertise. The company is interested in a talented individual with the appropriate background to have a positive impact in achieving success.

Responsibilities:

+ Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including invoicing, collections, and vendor management

+ Research, track, and resolve accounting problems

+ Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy of financial records

+ Verify and process invoices and payments to vendors, verifying accuracy and completeness of supporting documentation

+ Process Accounts Receivable

+ Assist with general ledger reconciliations and month-end close processes

+ Interact with customers to ensure payments are applied correctly and timely

Qualifications:

+ Associates degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance

+ Proficient in a variety of accounting software and Microsoft Office including Excel

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers

+ Excellent communication, data entry and organizational skills

+ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
