Job Title: Production Lead

Type: Direct Hire

Shift: Day Shift 2-2-3 (12 hour shift)

Salary: $80k-$85k/year, target annual bonus

Overview: API Manufacturing Company is seeking an experienced Production Lead to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, playing a key role in maintaining a high-performing, safety-focused production team. Responsibilities:

+ Promote a positive, safe, and compliant work environment by equipping team members with the tools, training, and feedback necessary for success.

+ Provide clear direction, timely coaching, and constructive feedback to support the development and performance of production staff.

+ Lead by example with professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic—setting the standard for team behavior and accountability.

+ Ensure efficient use of staff, materials, and equipment to meet production targets while maintaining product quality and safety.

+ Maintain full compliance with SOPs, FDA cGMPs, DEA regulations, and other applicable federal, state, and local standards.

+ Organize and support employee training activities; monitor progress and ensure timely completion of required training.

+ Oversee documentation of production processes, ensuring alignment with all regulatory and company standards.

+ Act as a liaison between Production and departments such as Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Material Control to resolve issues and improve processes.

+ Partner with the Production Supervisor on performance management, employee relations, project tracking, and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements:

+ High School Diploma and/or Pharmaceutical Certification with 7–10 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience

+ Must have experience with API/Small Molecule manufacturing

+ Leadership experience with in a GMP environment

+ Strong working knowledge of GMP, FDA, and DEA regulations

+ Excellent communication skills and the ability to mentor and motivate team members
