    Job Summary:

    We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join our Events Janitorial Services team. As a Janitorial Attendant, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of event venues before, during, and after events. This position requires flexibility, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing a clean and welcoming environment for guests.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

     

    + Set up and restock restrooms and sanitation stations prior to event start

    + Perform routine cleaning during events, including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and restroom maintenance

    + Respond quickly to spills, accidents, and cleaning needs during live events

    + Empty and replace trash liners in high-traffic areas

    + Ensure all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and seating areas, remain clean and presentable

    + Breakdown and clean event areas after event completion, including removal of trash, sweeping, and disinfecting surfaces

    + Communicate supply needs or maintenance issues to the supervisor promptly

    + Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

     

    Knowledge and Skill Requirements

     

    + Previous janitorial, custodial, or cleaning experience preferred

    + Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 30 lbs for extended periods

    + Strong attention to detail and time management

    + Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

    + Team player with a positive, customer-service-oriented attitude

     

    Compensation

     

    Harvard is offering a competitive salary structure including benefit package with medical, dental, life, and long-term disability (LTD) insurance along with 401K Savings Plan.
