    Job Title: Structural Steel DetailerJob Description

     

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Structural Steel Detailer proficient in advanced detailing software to join our team. This role involves creating accurate models and detailed fabrication drawings for structural steel components, as well as reviewing and checking drawings for quality, accuracy, and compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop models and detailed shop drawings using industry-standard software for structural steel projects.

    + Interpret architectural and structural drawings to produce accurate steel detailing.

    + Review and check drawings created by other detailers for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements.

    + Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and fabricators to resolve design and detailing issues.

    + Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.

    + Maintain organized records of revisions and drawing logs.

    + Participate in internal quality control processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in structural steel detailing, with the ability to check other detailers' drawings for inaccuracies.

    + Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.

    + Proficiency in advanced detailing software.

    + Ability to review drawings and provide solutions to issues.

    + Ability to attend onsite meetings as needed.

    Work Environment

    The office is spacious, providing each team member with their own desk area equipped with three monitors. You will be positioned close to project managers and work directly with the shop team on fabrications. This role involves some field visits for measurements or client meetings, which may require moving around buildings or structures. A company truck is provided for site visits. The company is family-owned and operated, offering flexibility with work schedules and commitments.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $36.06/hr.
