AAA Club Alliance (ACA) is hiring for a Lead Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team! This is a full-time position reporting into our Worthington, OH office 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) with travel to other ACA locations as assigned.

The primary duties of the Lead Maintenance Technician are to:
+ Act as main point of contact for external vendors for scheduling and more complex repair work in assigned market.
+ Manage all renovation, reconfiguration, and/or move projects within approved timelines in assigned market.
+ Maintain primary site according to standards including mechanical systems (if applicable).
+ In the absence of Supervisor, oversee any outside contractors/vendors in order to provide cost effective service to internal customers, including assignment of work from planned projects, service requests, and other sources.
+ Perform or assign in-house repairs to the greatest extent possible before engaging contractor services.
+ Research new equipment maintenance procedures and distribute information among all members of Facilities.
+ Monitor work order system and respond to assignments in a timely, efficient and courteous manner.
+ Assign and prioritize daily service tickets as required.
+ Works with maintenance supervisor to plan work priorities, obtain necessary supplies, and assess skills needed to complete tasks.
+ Collaborate with team members to discuss upcoming work assignments and delegate assignments based on team members’ skills and experience.
+ Ensure maintenance and repair work is completely safely, effectively, and in a timely manner.
+ Assist team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments.
+ Inspect work performed by team members.
+ Inspect ongoing projects by visiting construction sites for update meetings and/or progress reports as required.
+ Provide support and consulting services to Facilities technicians and mechanics to resolve issues or concerns.
+ Work with architects, designers and other consultants in order to achieve project parameters as assigned.
+ Act as essential personnel for assigned AAA locations on a 7 x 24 basis. Work weekend on-call rotation to provide after-hours emergency coverage.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in a facilities role, with emphasis in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance solutions required.
+ Three years of progressive experience in building operation and maintenance preferred.
+ Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
+ Demonstrated ability to lead facilities related projects; Site closures/ opening, relocations, store refreshes.
+ Effective written and oral communications skills to enable accurate completion of assignments and projects and effective interaction with others.
+ Ability to handle materials, tools or equipment.
+ Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
+ Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
+ Ability to maintain a consistent teamwork mentality.
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as needed to complete reports, logs, and inventory.
+ Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
