We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D to lead and manage stormwater management design projects. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with junior engineers, conduct thorough analyses of long-range plans and survey data, and provide on-site leadership to ensure projects align with client goals.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare stormwater management models, calculations, and designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
+ Collaborate with junior Civil Engineers on design work primarily utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.
+ Analyze long-range plans, survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects effectively.
+ Assist with site design projects in Civil 3D, focusing on grading, erosion control, and site plans.
+ Provide on-site project leadership and apply financial acumen to meet client goals.
+ Actively track project performance against schedules and critical paths.
+ Communicate effectively with clients and manage project deadlines.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
+ Professional Engineer (PE) license.
+ 10-15+ years of experience in Civil Project Management.
+ Experience in site development projects, particularly in educational and park settings.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Familiarity with stormwater management design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
+ Personable demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
+ Experience working on commercial, park districts, gas stations, and limited municipal projects.
Work Environment
The position is based in Hoffman Estates with a hybrid work schedule. Initially, the role will be mostly remote, with occasional visits to a satellite office one or two days a week. The work environment is supportive, with opportunities for growth and career advancement in a multidisciplinary firm. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $57.69 - $67.31/hr.
