Job Description:
Actalent is seeking a Quality Control Chemist to support analytical testing in a dynamic pharmaceutical laboratory environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality during the validation and performance qualification phases of production. The chemist will analyze samples from production runs using advanced instrumentation and software tools.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Perform analytical testing on production samples using HPLC, UPLC, GC, and Karl Fischer titration.
+ Interpret and document results using Empower software.
+ Ensure compliance with GMP standards and internal quality protocols.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support validation activities.
+ Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration and documentation.
Required Skills:
+ Hands-on experience with HPLC and UPLC.
+ Strong understanding in chemistry and laboratory practices.
+ Familiarity with GMP regulations and quality control procedures.
+ Proficiency in Empower or similar chromatography data systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with GC and Karl Fischer titration.
+ Prior work in a pharmaceutical or diagnostic laboratory setting.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Experience Level:
Intermediate – 2 to 5 years of relevant laboratory experience preferred.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
