    Job Title: Estimator – Entry LevelJob Overview

     

    We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as an entry-level Estimator. In this role, you’ll help review project requests, look over drawings, and assist in creating cost estimates for products and installations. You’ll work closely with clients and team members to make sure everything is clear and on track from start to finish.

    What You’ll Do

    + Review quotes and help calculate costs for projects.

    + Look at architectural drawings to understand what’s needed.

    + Work with designers to make updates or changes to plans.

    + Answer client questions and keep them updated during the project.

    + Communicate with clients by email and phone.

    What You Should Bring

    + Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.

    + Ability to read and understand construction drawings (training provided).

    + Good communication and customer service skills.

    + Comfortable using a computer and organizing digital files.

    + Willingness to learn pricing and estimating tools.

    Nice to Have

    + High school diploma or equivalent (college degree is a plus).

    + 1–2 years of experience with AutoCAD or construction drawings.

    + Experience with Rhino is a bonus.

    + Interest or background in construction or design.

    Work Environment

    You’ll be working in a brand-new, modern office in Gilberts, IL. The space is casual and fun, with great equipment, snacks, and even an office dog! Most Fridays are work-from-home. Hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch. We also host regular team events and happy hours.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
