Job Title: Quality Control AnalystJob Description
The Quality Control Analyst is responsible for performing critical testing on raw materials, environment, utilities, validation samples, and manufactured materials. The analyst ensures that samples are tested and reviewed according to quality requirements and that results are valid, accurate, and documented per applicable regulatory and corporate standards. Tasks may include method validation and transfers.
Responsibilities
+ Perform testing and associated tasks without errors according to applicable SOPs and protocols.
+ Comply with policies and procedures to maintain compliance with legal regulations, health and safety, and regulatory requirements.
+ Develop and maintain SOPs.
+ Develop expertise in assigned assays and techniques.
+ Author lab investigations and invalid assay assessments.
+ May be required to perform shift work as needed to support operations.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in a Scientific discipline.
+ Quality control expertise.
+ Knowledge of GMP and QC testing.
+ Understanding of microbiology and critical testing on raw materials, environment, utilities, validation samples, and manufactured materials.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Degree in Biology or Microbiology is highly preferred.
+ Experience with environmental monitoring in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
+ Experience in analytical testing labs, whether academic or industry-based.
+ Experience working in a cGMP Pharmaceutical Laboratory.
+ Knowledge of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
+ Experience with Bioburden, Endotoxin, and Sterility testing.
+ Intermediate knowledge of GMPs, safety regulations, and data integrity.
+ Intermediate knowledge of analytical methods and related instrumentation.
Work Environment
The role may require shift work to support operations. The work environment involves compliance with GMP and safety regulations, ensuring the integrity of data and results. The facility operates under strict health and safety protocols and utilizes advanced analytical methods and instrumentation.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
