    Job Title: Groundwater Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Groundwater Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of groundwater data to ensure the sustainability and safety of our water sources. You will work primarily in the field to monitor groundwater levels, quality, and usage, performing technical tasks related to water resource management.

    Responsibilities

    + Collect and analyze groundwater samples.

    + Report findings to ensure water source safety and sustainability.

    + Monitor groundwater levels, quality, and usage.

    + Perform technical tasks related to water resource management.

    + Occasionally conduct traffic control during field operations.

    Essential Skills

    + OSHA certification.

    + 2-5 years of experience in groundwater sampling.

    + Experience with hand tools and hand augers.

    + Ability to perform field service and soil sampling tasks.

    + HAZWOPER certification.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 40-hour certification required.

    + Must pass drug and physical exams.

    + Clean DMV record is mandatory.

    Work Environment

     

    Work is conducted throughout Southern California, with a meeting point in Buena Park before heading out to various sites. Basic PPE such as a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and work boots are required. The role is a temporary-to-hire position and involves working alongside crews in various field conditions.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buena Park, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
