Job Title: Warehouse Worker (Machine Shop Material Handler)

Job Description

The primary responsibilities of this role include material and tube cutting. The individual will be responsible for setting up and operating material and tube cutting saws based on charts and blueprints. This role also involves inventory management for all raw materials used and stored in the machine shop.

Responsibilities

+ Set up material and tube cutting saws.

+ Operate saws based on charts and blueprints.

+ Manage inventory for all raw materials in the machine shop.

+ Put away and transact material for manufacturing work orders.

+ Handle materials for inspection or receiving, such as raw materials and tubing.

+ Pull raw material and cut according to work order specifications.

+ Prepare tubing for shipping, including picking and packing sales orders.

+ Deburr parts after cutting.

+ Perform additional duties as needed within the materials group.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in warehouse, packing, and inventory management.

+ Proficiency in material handling and order picking.

+ Skills in cutting metal and deburring metal.

+ Experience in shipping, including UPS and FedEx operations.

+ Ability to handle heavy lifting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ At least 6 months of experience in a warehouse environment performing shipping duties.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burbank, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
