    Aerotek Aviation is hiring for an Avionics Repair Technician for a client of ours located in Moline, Illinois.

     

    2nd shift $35-42/hr.

     

    Must haves

     

    - 2-5 years of Avionic experience

    Job Description

    Join a leading provider of comprehensive and customer-focused solutions for business aviation as an Avionics Repair Technician at the corporate headquarters in Moline, IL. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing avionics and electrical equipment with minimal supervision to ensure customer satisfaction. You will be part of a service department dedicated to delivering projects on time, on budget, and squawk free.

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot and repair all avionics and electrical systems on aircraft effectively.

    + Learn and adapt to new electrical and avionics systems.

    + Communicate progress regularly with the Department Manager.

    + Ensure all work performed is inspected by an authorized repair station inspector.

    + Complete all paperwork daily in a concise and legible manner.

    + Report unresolved problems or repairs to the Department Manager.

    + Notify discrepancies related to company tooling/equipment.

    + Follow the company work order and parts requisition process.

    + Maintain a clean, neat, and efficient work area.

    + Repair and calibrate shop equipment as assigned.

    + Inspect avionics repairs and modifications as necessary.

    + Assist with training for Avionics Repair Technician Level 1 personnel.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + 2-5 years of avionic experience.

    + Experience in aircraft electrical systems.

    + Proficiency in troubleshooting avionics systems.

    + Knowledge of avionic installation and wire harness.

    + FCC licensing is advantageous.

    + Bench repair capabilities are a plus.

    + Experience with Garmin systems is preferred.

    Work Environment

     

    Work within a clean and temperature-controlled hanger, predominantly inside aircraft, alongside a small team. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Milan, Illinois.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

     

    Can provide benefits package if requested

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Milan,IL.
