Job Title: Clean Room Assembler
Job Description
As a Clean Room Assembler, you will closely collaborate with the Research & Development team to design and develop innovative products. You will be instrumental in both R&D and production-level manufacturing, developing and refining work instructions. Additionally, you will assist in the design and construction of developmental components, sub-assemblies, and prototype devices, ensuring high-quality standards throughout the process.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and refine manufacturing work instructions.
+ Assist in the design and construction of developmental components and prototype devices.
+ Record observations of assembly processes and performance.
+ Assist in the development of test methods, including design, construction, and execution.
+ Perform product testing and simple data analysis.
+ Communicate progress and learnings verbally and in writing.
+ Train and support operators on new manufacturing projects.
+ Drive timelines and assist in product manufacturing.
+ Gather inspection data to refine customer specifications.
+ Evaluate manufacturing transfer projects and provide line support for smooth transitions.
+ Collaborate with project teams to build quality products and deliver them on time.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in using a microscope for assembly.
+ 3-5 years of experience with active implantable devices.
+ Knowledge of medical device materials and manufacturing processes.
+ 1+ year of SMT/Thru-hole soldering techniques, JSTRD certification preferred.
+ Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
+ Ability to work well in teams.
+ Strong written and oral communication skills.
+ Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
+ Flexibility to handle multiple projects in an organized manner.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience working with class III implantable devices.
+ Knowledge of laser welding/soldering for active medical devices.
+ Technical ability with a focus on quality.

Work Environment
Employees work in a clean, state-of-the-art facility with a welcoming break room. The company hosts various events, lunches, and BBQs to foster a collaborative and inclusive environment. The role involves assembling IPG or pacemaker units in a new product development area, requiring flexibility to work on different projects, including IPGs and catheters. Most tasks are performed under a microscope in a clean room environment. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, 5 am to 3:30 pm, first shift.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
