Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of Bon Secours medical buildings. You will be part of a collaborative team, responsible for maintaining facilities within a 1 to 1.5-hour radius of Chesterfield.

Responsibilities

+ Check fire extinguishers to ensure compliance and safety.

+ Perform preventive maintenance tasks on building systems.

+ Troubleshoot and conduct minor HVAC repairs.

+ Maintain and repair water fixtures.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in HVAC systems.

+ Proficiency in preventive maintenance and building maintenance.

+ Knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities tech or building maintenance.

+ Experience with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems is preferred.

Work Environment

You will be traveling to 10-15 offsite Bon Secours medical buildings located in the Richmond and surrounding areas. The position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Enjoy working in a dynamic environment with a supportive team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glen Allen, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
