Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

As an Assembler, you will perform duties in alignment with the Quality Management System and Safety Management System requirements. This role involves assembling sub-assemblies, installing accessory components, and wiring basic electrical connections according to diagrams. You will ensure products meet quality, engineering, and customer standards while operating hand tools, including electrical and pneumatic power tools. Additionally, you will load and move materials using lifting equipment, interpret job orders and blueprints, and maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble sub-assemblies and install accessory components and materials.

+ Wire basic electrical connections per applicable diagrams.

+ Inspect products to ensure they conform to quality, engineering, and customer requirements.

+ Operate hand tools including electrical and pneumatic power tools.

+ Load, unload, lift, and move materials and products using lifting equipment when available.

+ Read and interpret job orders, diagrams, and blueprints to select and position materials and components.

+ Complete and maintain all associated electronic process paperwork including checklists, stamping, blueprints, barcoding, and shipping materials.

+ Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.

+ Complete additional tasks or projects as needed by the department.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with hand and power tools.

+ Ability to read a measuring tape.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to read blueprints is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing environment on the 1st shift from 5:00am to 1:45pm with a 45-minute lunch break. The dress code requires full-length pants made of sturdy material, such as denim, with no holes, as well as steel-toed boots, which are not provided. Safety glasses, ear plugs, and safety sleeves are provided to ensure your safety on the job.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Dimas, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
