    Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

    Job Description

    Join our team as a second shift Maintenance Mechanic, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility. Initially, you will receive training on the first shift for about a month. This role involves predominantly preventative maintenance work, along with occasional repairs and facilities upkeep.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform preventative maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently.

    + Conduct on-the-fly repairs as needed to minimize downtime.

    + Participate in facilities upkeep to maintain a safe and clean work environment.

    + Collaborate with operators to monitor and ensure the smooth functioning of automated systems.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.

    + Strong mechanical knowledge of industrial machinery.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

    + Capability to lift up to 45 lbs.

    + Proven ability to work independently.

    + Possession of personal tools for maintenance tasks.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with motors, pumps, and hoses.

    + Familiarity with hydraulic systems prevalent in the facility.

    Work Environment

     

    The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:10 PM to 12:00 AM. The role is based in an industrial environment, which, while not a cleanroom, requires adherence to food safety standards, including wearing beard and hair nets.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr.
