Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

Join a dynamic and expanding company as a CNC Machinist where you will play a pivotal role in producing high-quality custom parts for the Aerospace and Defense Industries. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a clean and modern manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

+ Set up, program, and operate CNC Mill or Lathe machines.

+ Machine parts per customer specifications with precision.

+ Read and understand various types of customer prints.

+ Utilize mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and solve machining problems.

+ Maintain attention to detail and employ critical thinking skills in machining processes.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in CNC Mill and Lathe operations.

+ Experience with CAM software, preferably Mastercam.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and customer specifications.

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with Mazak, Hurco, MicroDynamics machines.

+ Familiarity with Mazatrol, Hurco, Fanuc, and Mitsubishi controls.

+ 3, 4, or 5 axis programming experience or equivalent education/training.

+ Advanced CAM programming experience.

Work Environment

Work in a clean and modern manufacturing facility with flexible shift options. Choose between a 1st shift from 7am - 3pm (Monday - Friday) or a 3rd shift from 11pm - 7am (Sunday - Thursday), with flexibility on start times. A 90-day training period is offered on the 1st shift, with potential for a modified schedule.

This is a Permanent position based out of Ephrata, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $76960.00/yr.
