Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist who is proficient in operating CNC Mill and Lathe machines. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in CNC setup and blueprint reading, ensuring precise fabrication and assembly of both metallic and non-metallic parts.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate conventional, special-purpose, and numerical control machines to fabricate and assemble parts.

+ Study blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces.

+ Select and secure fixtures, cutting tools, and materials on machines such as mills and lathes.

+ Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors, including speed, feed, and coolant flow.

+ Verify conformance of finished workpieces to specifications using precision measuring instruments.

+ Fit and assemble parts into complete units using jigs, fixtures, and hand/power tools.

+ Ensure dimensions and alignment of assembly using measuring instruments like micrometers and height gauges.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in CNC machining with at least 1-5 years of experience.

+ Strong mechanical knowledge including machine design, use, repair, and maintenance.

+ Experience in production processes and quality control.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

+ Skill in operating CNC machines, specifically lathe and mill.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with Twin Spindle Lathe with Live Tooling.

+ Familiarity with Okuma machining centers.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic environment with a shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Engage in hands-on activities that require physical effort and coordination. The facility is equipped with advanced machining centers, promoting efficiency and precision in operations.

This is a Permanent position based out of Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
