    Job Title: Forklift Operator

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Operator in a brand new, state-of-the-art warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving inbound materials or loading outbound shipments, operating various equipment such as clamps, order pickers, reach trucks, turrets, and loaders. This role involves some physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment such as clamps, order pickers, reach trucks, turrets, and loaders.

    + Receive and process inbound materials efficiently.

    + Load and prepare outbound shipments for transport.

    + Perform inventory management and packing tasks.

    + Utilize RF scanners and pallet jacks as needed.

    + Ensure safety and organization within the warehouse environment.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment.

    + Proficiency in using clamps, order pickers, reach trucks, turrets, and loaders.

    + Experience with inventory management and general labor tasks.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous forklift and warehouse experience is required.

    + Experience with RF scanners, sit-down, and stand-up forklifts.

    + Familiarity with EPJs and pallet jacks.

    Work Environment

     

    The warehouse is brand new and features modern design elements for optimal ventilation, including large fans and 'wet fans'. Although there is no air conditioning, the innovative setup ensures comfort while working. The role offers flexible shifts, with the first shift running from 5 AM to 1:30 PM (potentially until 2:30 PM) and the second shift from 3 PM to 11:30 PM (potentially until 12:30 AM), including half-day Saturdays.

    This is a Contract position based out of Rincon, Georgia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
