    Part-Time 1st shift Tool and Die Maker

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in developing and modifying tools and dies and will be proficient in operating both manual and CNC machines. This role is essential in ensuring the functionality and quality of tools and dies through fabrication, assembly, testing, and repair.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and modify tools and dies based on technical drawings.

    + Operate and maintain manual and CNC machines including lathes, grinders, and milling machines.

    + Fabricate, assemble, and test tools and dies to ensure functionality and quality.

    + Perform repairs and adjustments on worn or damaged tooling.

    + Conduct quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

    + Collaborate with engineers and production staff to meet project specifications.

    + Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards.

    Essential Skills

    + Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker in a manufacturing setting.

    + Proficiency in reading blueprints and using CAD/CAM software.

    + Skilled in operating precision machinery and hand tools.

    + Strong understanding of metal properties and machining techniques.

    + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Technical training or apprenticeship preferred.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
