Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated production workers to join our team in New Gloucester, Maine. You will be part of a dynamic food manufacturing setting, where you will operate basic production equipment, package finished goods, palletize materials, and follow detailed work orders.

Responsibilities

+ Operate basic production equipment efficiently and safely.

+ Package finished goods according to specifications.

+ Palletize materials in accordance with work orders.

+ Follow detailed work orders and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to lift 60+ lbs comfortably.

+ Comfortable working in a cold environment at 40-45 degrees.

+ Ability to stand and work on feet for an 8-hour shift.

+ Strong attention to detail.

+ Willingness to learn and enthusiasm for the job.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.

Work Environment

Work in a refrigerated environment with temperatures around 45 degrees, where heavy lifting of 60+ lbs is required. You will be part of a team of 20, collaborating closely with colleagues and working with raw materials. Proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory to ensure safety.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Gloucester, Maine.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $24.00/hr.
