Job Title: Millwright

Shift/Pay/Additional Information:

+ Shift: 1st shift - 7AM - 3:30PM

+ **NEED TO BE OPEN TO WORK UP TO 14 HOURS - SOME PROJECTS VARY IN TIME**

+ Pay: $28.00/hr. - $30.00/hr.

+ Will be given per diem, mileage reimbursement, food per diem and hotel is covered if need to stay overnight out of town.

+ Potential for Company Truck as well depending on the candidate

+ 1.5x After 40 Hours

+ **Travel Requirements: Traveling within a 100-mile radius around Toledo, with candidates returning home each night. Work will take place inside steel mills, automotive facilities, and agricultural settings.**

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Millwright to join our team. The successful candidate will travel to various steel mills, automotive manufacturers, and agricultural companies to perform industrial maintenance tasks including machine installation, repair, mechanical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

+ Perform machine installation, repair, and mechanical troubleshooting.

+ Conduct rigging of large parts using Chain Falls and Come Alongs.

+ Troubleshoot presses, conveyor lines, stamping presses, coiling lines, slitting lines, coating lines, pumps, HVAC systems, gears, motors, and other large equipment.

+ Weld mild and cold rolled steel using MIG, Stick, and TIG welding techniques.

+ Perform fabrication work.

+ Execute preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment.

+ Perform facility maintenance tasks including HVAC, plumbing, changing light ballasts, painting, and lawn care maintenance.

+ Work at heights up to 50 feet using JLG or boom lifts while properly harnessed.

+ Lift up to 50 pounds and engage in general shop clean-up duties.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Toledo, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
