    Job Title: Wire Harness Technician

    Job Description

    As a Wire Harness Technician, you will be responsible for building custom harnesses, including tasks such as cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and terminating wires based on wire diagrams. You will work with wire harness assembly, wiring schematics, and manufacturing verification to ensure quality and safety.

    Responsibilities

    + Build custom wire harnesses using cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and terminating techniques.

    + Assemble wire harnesses and PCBAs.

    + Interpret and work from wiring schematics and diagrams.

    + Verify manufacturing processes and ensure test boxes are safe before moving to the next department.

    + Utilize military circular connectors and various fasteners.

    + Build test fixtures and ensure harness builds meet quality standards.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in wire harness assembly and wiring schematics.

    + Skilled in cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and terminating wires.

    + Ability to interpret and work from detailed diagrams and schematics.

    + Experience in using military circular connectors.

    + Familiarity with various fastening tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 5 years of experience as a wire harness technician or master technician.

    + Molex wire harness experience (preferred but not required).

    + Background as an avionic technician or in vehicle manufacturing.

    + Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted.

    + Test fixture build and harness build experience.

    This is a Contract position based out of Long Beach, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $37.00/hr.
