Automation Technician** **|Greensboro,NC|HIRING IMMEDIATELYl

$5000 SIGN ON BONUS

Starting Pay Range: $28.70-$32.94 *based on level of experience

Available Shift:7am-3pm (Monday-Friday)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

+ Performs basic troubleshooting and maintenance work on automation equipment.

+ Recovers robot when it malfunctions.

+ Determines root cause of electrical and mechanical robot and PLC failures, then implements corrective actions.

+ Possesses troubleshooting and repair skills for both low and high voltage systems.

+ Troubleshoots and repairs gears, bearings, sprockets and other mechanical drive systems

+ Understands schematics for pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and can maintain those systems

+ Performs preventative maintenance on production line equipment

+ Utilizes CMMS to record equipment deficiencies, corrective actions, and to assess equipment breakdown trends

+ On-call as needed by department and able to be flexible with schedule as needed.

+ Must possess the ability to work in tight spaces and on ladders/platforms.

+ Sets up variable frequency drives

+ Wires 480 and lower voltage motors

Qualifications

Qualifications:

+ Analytical, problem solving, and strong technical skills including mechanical, electrical and PLC programming

+ Strong skills in customer service, interpersonal, oral communication, written communications, teamwork, judgment, motivation, planning, organizing, professionalism, quality, quantity, safety, adaptability, attendance, punctuality, dependability, initiative, innovation.

+ HS Diploma or Equivalency, preferred associate’s degree.

+ 5 + years automation technician experience within robot and PLC.

+ Maintenance and troubleshooting experience with Allen Bradley and ABB equipment is preferred.
