Materials Coordinator - Hiring Immediately! - Corsicana, TX

Available Shift: Monday - Friday 7a - 3:30p

Starting Pay Rate: $22.62 per hour

Responsibilities

+ Maintains a safe, clean work environment while performing all tasks

+ Perform set-up and unloading of resin and talc from railcars follow railcar unload procedure.

+ Maintains records and time reports as required.

+ Performs quality work within reasonable time standards set forth by management in verbal or written instructions.

+ Assist in the training of other employees.

+ Participate in continuous improvement team and activities.

+ Performs other related duties and assignments.

+ Establishes and monitors capacity and inventory levels for respective business unit; reviews material and supply procurement, working with Material Buyers to ensure materials are available to satisfy production schedules

+ Prepare WMS orders to obtain necessary materials, tools and equipment

+ Determines order quantities and safety stocks to optimize customer service and departmental key performance indicators

+ Works with inter-functional teams to create and implement changes in process and systems related to planning and scheduling

Qualifications

**Education/Experience:** Associate’s Degree or a minimum of 3 years of material/production planning and inventory control experience.

**Language Skills:** Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

**Mathematical Skills:** Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide; use common fractions and decimals.

**Computer Skills:** Microsoft Word, Oracle, Excel, Lotus Notes.

**Work Environment: M** anufacturing environment; somewhat noisy and subject to temperature fluctuations.
