• IT Systems/Network Manager

    TEKsystems (Torrance, CA)


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and mentor a team of 20 IT professionals across infrastructure, networking, and desktop support.

    • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Managed Services team, ensuring high availability and performance.

    • Collaborate with leadership to align IT strategies with business goals.

    • Drive process improvements, automation, and scalability initiatives.

    • Act as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues.

    • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

    Technologies & Tools You'll Work With:

    • Networking & Security: Cisco (CCNP/CCIE preferred), Fortinet, FortiGate, firewalls, Aruba

    • Virtualization & Infrastructure: VMware, vSphere, Hyper-V, High Availability systems

    • Cloud & Productivity: Microsoft Azure (AZ-900 or AZ-104 preferred), Office 365 (MS-900, MS-100 or MS-101 preferred)

    • Storage & Systems: Enterprise storage solutions, Microsoft Windows OS (multiple versions)

    • End-User Tools: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.), remote support tools, endpoint management

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in IT leadership roles, ideally in startup environments or as a business owner.

    • Strong generalist background across IT domains: infrastructure, networking, desktop support, and systems administration.

    • Experience managing and scaling technical teams.

    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

    o Microsoft MS-900, MS-100 or MS-101

    o Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or Azure Administrator (AZ-104)

    o Cisco CCNP or CCIE

    o Fortinet NSE certifications

    The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
