    Description

    The Data Entry Specialist supports the main responsibilities of the Bill Acquisition & Payment Teams by responding to outgoing manual bill requests to taxing authorities, reviewing and keying of tax amounts for reporting to customers, review of incoming mail to support the Outsourcing Teams, and balancing the funds received for timely and accurate payment remittance.

     

    • Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities.

    • Processes data entry by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.

    • Process payment orders for the department

    • Enters customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard or optical scanner according to screen format.

    • Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data; combining data from both systems when account information is incomplete; purging files to eliminate duplication of data.

    • Files all information and documents for department

    • Other related results as needed.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
