This 3rd Shift-Full Time Security Officer position requires an *Active Q Clearance* (YOU MUST ALREADY HAVE THE Q CLEARANCE) Starting wage is $19.14 while transfer is occurring. After reciprocity of clearance has been granted and finalized, the pay will increase to $28.14.This position may offer the opportunity for overtime on 2nd shift. All employees are scheduled to a monthly weekend schedule that rotates between employees. No one is exempt from the weekend work.

1st shift positions are based on a few factors such as availability of shift, merit and tenure. Please do not apply with the intention of moving to 1st shift, this is a 3rd shift position. Monday-Friday are 8 hour shifts and Saturday and Sunday shifts are 12 hours.

Candidate must have a valid drivers license, be at least 25 years old and a clean driving record. All workers assigned to this client that are required to drive company vehicles must be cleared to be covered under Walden Security automotive plan.

Position requires walking, sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time depending on the post that is assigned that day. At this point, there is an average of 8 officers on shift with the expectation to add new employees for special detail.

What You Will Do

Our Security Officers protect the Industrial or Commercial property of our clients against fire, vandalism and illegal entry.

Our clients range from Class-A Office Buildings, Luxury Residential Properties, Distilleries, Fortune 500 Companies, Financial Institutions, Telecommunications, Manufacturing/Industrial Factories, Hospitals and many others.

Requirements:

+ High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

+ Minimum of 18 years of age

+ Ability to pass criminal background check and drug test
