    Requirements:

    Education:

    + Graduate of an accredited RN program

    Experience:

    + Minimum 3 years of nursing experience

    + At least 1 year in long-term care or sub-acute care

    + Prior supervisory experience preferred

    Licensure & Certification:

    + Active NYS RN License

    + Current CPR Certification

    + Accu-Chek and IV Therapy Certification

    + Annual CEU Compliance

    Key Responsibilities:

    Administrative:

    + Lead and coordinate clinical operations on assigned unit or shift

    + Support and guide staff with clinical decisions and delegation

    + Ensure thorough assessment and care planning for residents

    + Conduct frequent rounds to ensure care standards and resident needs are met

    + Monitor and follow up on nursing documentation and performance

    + Collaborate with the Director of Nursing on quality and compliance issues

    Personnel:

    + Promote interdepartmental cooperation to maintain seamless resident care

    + Conduct regular team meetings to identify and resolve issues

    + Enforce policies fairly and equitably, without bias or discrimination
