    Our client is currently seeking an **L1 Technician (Deployment)** to join their team **onsite** in New York, NY. The selected candidate will need to go through the client background check process which requires fingerprinting.

     

    **Duties and Responsibilities** :

    + Act as a queue manager/coordinator

    + First point of contact for ticket requests that populate from the team

    + Handle a high volume of asset deployments and moves

    Skills and Qualifications** **:

    + Minimum 2+ years of hands on asset deployment experience

    + Test and image desktops and laptops

    + Ability to set up, configure, and add all hardware

    + Maintain, analyze, and troubleshoot software and computer peripherals

    + Assist client internal IS technicians with large IMACs

    + Provide technical support to end-users via telephone and in person

    + Assist in developing and documenting improvements to current processes

    + Manage (ServiceNow / Clearvision) ticket queue constantly throughout the day

    + Assist coworkers in the resolution of end-users' technical issues

    + Experience with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Internet browsers and Email clients

    + High School Diploma or GED required

    + Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT support field

    + Able to lift heavy equipment (i.e., PCs, monitors, printers)

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills

    **Wage Range** :

     

    The hourly rate for this position is between **$27.00 - $38.75 per hour.** Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
