• Facilities Assistant - #Staff

    We are seeking a **_Facilities Assistant_** for a casual/temporary position to assist with academic year starting activities such as readying campus for student move-in and orientation. This position is responsible for maintaining and supporting the smooth operations of various facilities, ensuring a clean, safe and functional environment.

    Specific Duties & Responsibilities

    + Assist in cleaning air conditioning filters in dorm rooms and across campus.

    + Assist with furniture moves in dining hall, dorm rooms, and cross campus.

    + Test and repair locks in dorm rooms and across campus.

    + Support the Facilities Manager with day-to-day tasks.

    + Other tasks as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + High School Diploma/Equivalent.

    + Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond HS Diploma/Graduation Equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

    Role/Level/Range: ATO 37.5/02/OC

     

    Starting Salary Range: $ 15.70 - $25.25 HRLY ($20.50 targeted; Commensurate w/exp.)

     

    Employee group: Casual / On Call

     

    Schedule: variable up to 987 per year

     

    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
