    Job Description:

    L3 Harris is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Norfolk VA team.

    Essential Functions:

    + Conduct quality assurance audits to ensure adherence to procedures, materials, and technical instructions.

    + Perform regular inspections of work areas and other quality assessments.

    + Attend production meetings for updates on job progress and work with the shop leads to address issues.

    + Review and finalize records at the conclusion of each work package for storage.

    + Maintain equipment and ensure calibration for testing.

    + Collaborate with other Quality Assurance Specialist as needed.

    + Support quality control initiatives

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of quality or technical experience.

    + Proficient in blueprint reading and QA systems.

    + Proficient in reading electrical schematics and has at least a basic understanding of electrical/electronic test results.

    + Knowledge of measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).

    + Ability to obtain NACE or NBPI certification.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office.

    + Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

    + Must be a US Citizen.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

    + NBPI and NACE certifications preferred but not required.

    + J-STD-001 preferred but not required.

    + Strong organizational and communication skills.

    + WHMA/IPC-A-620 preferred but not required.
