We are seeking a Loan Specialist to join our Middle Office team. This position at our corporate office in Las Vegas, NV and is fully in office (Monday through Friday).
About Middle Office Department...
Middle Office plays a critical role in supporting credit origination and portfolio maintenance throughout the loan lifecycle. Key responsibilities include managing Credit LEAD input, coordinating workflow through decisioning, handling original loan documentation, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The team also facilitates third-party due diligence, supports covenant and payment processing, and oversees reporting and communication. As a central liaison, the department works closely with the Front Office (Relationship Managers and Underwriters), Commercial Loan Fulfillment, Enterprise Syndications and Power Finance, and other enterprise support teams to ensure operational alignment, data integrity, and process efficiency.
The Loan Specialist role supports the full credit and loan origination process, as well as ongoing portfolio maintenance. It requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks across various systems and departments. The selected candidate will collaborate with Relationship Managers, Underwriters, and Enterprise support teams to ensure accurate processing, timely execution, and seamless coordination.
Essential Functions:
+ Manage loan requests through the Credit LEAD process, including data entry, workflow coordination, and progression through decisioning.
+ Monitor department inbox and manage task-related communications.
+ Handle original loan documentation, including intake, scanning, logging, and routing.
+ Process loan-related requests such as payments, advances, research inquiries, and payoff quotes, while supporting broader portfolio maintenance activities.
+ Coordinate and complete third-party due diligence and wire verification tasks.
+ Act as a liaison between supported departments, including the Front Office, Commercial Loan Fulfillment, Enterprise Syndications and Power Finance, and other Enterprise teams, to ensure alignment and efficient workflow.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
+ Requires a High School degree or Equivalent and 1+ year of loan documentation and review, closing or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
+ Working knowledge of general loan documentation, loan closing processes and procedures, lending policies, compliance and lending regulations.
+ Ability to review, read and interpret loan documentation.
+ Knowledge of due diligence and risk management requirements.
+ Must be accurate and detail oriented.
+ Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
+ Must have good problem and communication skills, both verbal and written.
+ Working knowledge of pc's and various word processing, spreadsheet or related software.

Pay range (depending on experience): $19.00 - $22.00/hour
