Job Summary

The Director of Dining Services is a dynamic leadership role ideal for an energetic, entrepreneurial manager with a passion for innovation and operational excellence. This position oversees the full scope of Dining Services operations—including retail, cafeteria, catering, and patient care—ensuring exceptional client and customer satisfaction, cost-effective performance, and compliance with food safety standards. This is a Monday–Friday, Mid Shift position.

Key Responsibilities

+ Lead and manage salaried managers and hourly associates

+ Direct all aspects of food service operations at the account

+ Hire, train, and evaluate staff; manage performance and resolve issues

+ Prepare and manage the annual budget

+ Complete reports related to inventory, payroll, production, and cash handling

+ Ensure adherence to company standards for food safety (HACCP, OSHA), quality, and presentation

+ Participate in food and beverage preparation and service as needed

+ Perform additional duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Food Service Management or related field (or Associate’s degree plus 4+ years of relevant experience)

+ 5–7 years of foodservice operations experience, including purchasing and inventory control

+ Expertise in culinary trends, food safety, cost control, and presentation

+ Prior experience with P&L management and contract food services preferred

+ Strong leadership, team development, and communication skills

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and company systems

+ ServSafe® Certification required
