    About This Role:

    The Director Of Benefits leads the Forrester global benefits team to develop competitive programs that attract, reward, and retain employees. This person evaluates the effectiveness of existing benefit offerings, policies, and guidelines and ensures they are market competitive, cost effective, and aligned with company goals. The Director Of Benefits is also responsible for the global leave of absence program. This individual works in partnership with external providers and benefits team consultants to ensure the company is positioned competitively, stays current on trends/changes, and is legally compliant.

    Job Description:

    + Lead the design, development, implementation, administration, and communication of our benefits programs globally, including health and welfare benefits, retirement, and holistic wellness programs.

    + Develop and maintain a comprehensive benefits strategy that is equitable, scalable, and comprehensive. This strategy is grounded in Forrester’s business objectives and core values.

    + Manage the global benefits and leave of absence team that supports employees in more than 15 countries in North America, Europe, and Asia.

    + Take a hands-on approach to ensure the effective implementation of Forrester’s benefits programs, including benefits renewals, open enrollment retirement, wellness programs, and leaves of absence.

    + Ensure compliance with all local leave laws globally. Responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing an overall leave strategy globally.

    + Act as a thought leader in employee wellness strategies and maintain a good pulse on global market data to develop engaging, contemporary, and competitive programs that inspire and meet the needs of a diverse and distributed workforce.

    + Build and sustain collaborative relationships within Forrester (i.e., business partners, learning, finance, payroll, legal, etc.). Build trust by including others and keeping cross-functional teams focused on business outcomes. Work through complex challenges with partners to identify risks and achieve resolution.

    + Manage vendor contract renewals and fee negotiations and ensure performance guarantees of the company’s carriers and vendors.

    + Develop analytics, metrics, and dashboards around benefits programs and other key people areas to evaluate the effectiveness of the program and inform the program direction in the future.

    Job Requirements:

    + At least 10 years’ experience in benefits and leave of absence management, including experience in influencing critical stakeholders.

    + Experience in leading transformational change, managing stakeholders, achieving buy-in among disparate audiences, and delivering results in various settings.

    + At least five years’ managerial experience, including global organizations.

    + Experience with Workday is highly preferred.

    + Excellent communication skills. Advanced problem-solving, process improvement, and change management skills, with the ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively.

    + Proven ability to think strategically and innovatively around benefit offerings.

    + Knowledge of legislation governing benefit plans and leave of absence policies and procedures (ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and GDPR).

    + Strong business and financial acumen to identify and implement cost-effective programs.
