Purpose:

The Director, Transactions Solutions will be responsible for leading the project management of all Finance aspects of a range of key corporate initiatives, including transactions (third party and internal restructuring) and certain key Finance process harmonization / enhancement projects.

This role will interact directly with senior leadership across Finance and other functions throughout Athene, including Actuarial, IT, Legal, and Risk. The ideal candidate will have experience leading cross functional projects, with Finance experience being a plus.

This role will report to the VP, Finance Transformation within the Finance team.

Accountabilities:

+ Project manage Finance aspects of new or restructuring of transactions, ensuring successful onboarding of new deals

+ Project manage a portfolio of Finance process harmonization / enhancement projects (excludes IT EPMO projects)

+ Work with project teams to ensure detailed project steps are on track, with any issues resolved in a timely manner

+ Provide regular updates to executives on project status, with clear actionable steps

+ Lead team of project managers

Qualifications and Experience:

+ Seven plus years of project management experience in insurance or financial services, with prior experience leading teams across multiple locations

+ Experience leading cross-functional projects involving Finance and Actuarial teams

+ Able to coordinate and effectively communicate project plans and provide status updates, working closely with functions throughout the organization

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate status updates and key issues to team members and executives

+ Highly motivated and able to thrive in fast-paced, results oriented environment with high quality standards

+ Strategic and analytical thinker with ability to focus on details and synthesize into actionable recommendations

+ Able to make decisions, use independent judgment, establish priorities, and work effectively on multiple initiatives concurrently

+ Demonstrate ability to work with minimal supervision, as well as the ability to meet deadlines

$130,080.00 - $195,120.00 USD Annual

Annual Salary for this role is market competitive. Actual salary for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Depending on the role, a discretionary bonus plan or variable sales incentive may be included.
