    **Location:** Westmont, IL; with some travel as needed to four Regional Hospital Sites

    The role you will contribute:

    The Director (Chief of Staff) will serve as the strategic right hand to the Regional CEO, translating vision into operational momentum across hospitals and regional functions. Acts as a proxy, integrator, and force multiplier; filters decisions, drives execution, and ensures leadership alignment across the Great Lakes Region.

    The value you will bring to the team:

    + Shapes how the Office of the President functions. Partners with EA as Chief of Staff to focus the CEOs time and decisions. Manages triage and institutional coherence.

    + Leads initiative planning under the CEO, architects the strategic calendar, translates strategy into workplans, and facilitates executive offsites and communication.

    + Preps CEO for executive/board forums, coaches regional execs, institutionalizes best practices, and manages Cabinet rhythm as part of strategic execution.

    + Acts as trusted advisor to CEO, organizational pattern recognition, executive communication, influence without authority, high judgment and strategic framing.

    + Executive presence, drive for results, lead change, coach and develop others, collaborate and influence.

    Qualifications

    The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:

    + Bachelor's Required

    + Master's Preferred

    + Seven years experience in leadership and/or hospital operations

    + Ability to conduct primary and secondary research and to analyze and synthesize data from multiple sources.

    + Ability to design, structure, implement and oversee multiple projects and teams simultaneously and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external parties, including executives, employees, physicians and consumers.

    + Ability to identify opportunities and solve problems.

    + Demonstrated background in strategic analysis and planning.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to organize and synthesize a broad set of information.

    + Excellent judgment, analytical and interpersonal skills, and written, presentation and verbal communication skills

    + Strong understanding of business management.

    + Ability to work in a matrix-management environment to achieve organizational goals.

    + Strong understanding and knowledge of the general principles and practices of healthcare administration and the healthcare industry

    + Expert proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and proficiency in Visio and databases

    + Experience with/knowledge of healthcare trends, legislative agendas
